It is the first day of July and the outside temperature continues to remind all of us that Summer is slapping us in the face.
- One-oh-Eight!
Foregoing any semblance of alternating my legs back and forth, pushing forward upwards of 6 mph by foot. Instead, changed the script to an indoor cardio workout scheduled for later in the evening with my wife. Life lesson #22 – don’t kill yourself over obtaining your goals. Balance, flexibility. and fun are also part of a smart plan.
Morning weight 174. Looks like that Drumstick and I’m not talking about the kind Bobby Brady used just made itself known. No worries. A little extra effort tomorrow and it will be back to normal — just as if that drumstick never was.
Today’s menu:
- 8am – Herbalife Herbal Concentrate Tea (6 ounces – cold)
- 8am – Herbalife Formula 1 French Vanilla Shake with fruit and veggies
- 11am – Leftover Chinese food. 1/2 portion of sesame tofu, 1/2 cup of leftover egg fried rice, and 1 vegetable egg foo yung
- 11am – 10 ounces of Herbalife Herbal Concentrate Tea (cold)
- 3pm – Left-leftover Chinese food. 1/2 portion of sesame tofu and 7 gluten free crackers
- 7pm – Taco Bell veggie Cantina Burrito (finished half), 1/2 of a veggie Chalupa, and 3/4 nachos with cheese
Walked Ikea for about an hour. I was going to stash this under Today’s activities, but that would be too easy. Did I break a sweat? No. Did I get tired? No. Do I add it to today’s activities? No. Still looking forward to a light Tracy Anderson tonight, but I know I have some Ikea furniture to build as well.
Today’s accomplishments.
- My Crate Vintage 30 amp has been crackling and popping for 6-7 years. My brother and I were going to replace the tubes, but he didn’t make it to see that day unfortunately. I Googled it and found many suggestions, but there was a producdt called Deox from Radio Shack that seemed to be top rated and a first fix before doing anything. Called to make sure it was in stock and they have 2. Turns out that this is out-of-stock online and there are only 5 remaining company-wide. My local store has 2 and now they have 1. Followed directions and within 30 minutes, my amp stopped sounding like the cereal Snap, Crackle, and Pop! Amazing!

It is now 11:20pm – Tracy Anderson and I have a late night date. Tracy Mat Workout — don’t judge. I double dare you to get through this entire workout without putting your arms down. It ain’t easy, but it’s worth it! Low impact; high results! Perfect stretch for my frozen shoulder.
Finished at 12:15am … Sleep is certainly part of a healthy balance. So let’s go find some balance. Had a final protein recovery Herbalife Protein Berry Beverage Mix … that sucker has 15 grams of protein.
